Hello all,

To have a great chance of winning on contests or to sell your design, you need two factors that are parallel,
The idea of the design (see your design before the execution of the drawing) and also the know-how and to present that idea.
as a general rule the designers have a great know-how in terms of CAD drawing but sometimes their ideas
are far from the reality of the project and sometimes the opposite ...

and what do you think about it?

very true but the key is to make tests, if you can before realizing the idea itself, with trial and error of the function that the design will have.

that too is true but it is a step among the steps of know-how, all the constraints... sometimes the price does not help the designers

Hello,
I completely agree with your assessment that having both a strong design idea and the know-how to execute it is crucial for success in contests or selling designs. It's important to be able to visualize the end product before beginning the design process, and having a clear and creative idea can set a design apart from others.
At the same time, having the technical skills to bring the design to life is just as important. Without the ability to properly execute the design, even the best ideas can fall short in terms of quality or functionality.
It's true that sometimes designers can excel in one area while struggling in the other. However, by focusing on both the creative and technical aspects of design, a designer can create high-quality and innovative designs that stand out in the market.
In summary, I think that having a balance between a strong design idea and the know-how to execute it is essential for success in the design industry. Thank you for bringing up this important topic for discussion.
